Welcome to Emily Watts Equestrian

Emily is a UKCC Level 3  coach and has had years of experience riding in the dressage arena and producing horses up the levels to be both successful in dressage and eventing. Emily runs a small family business at home in Audley, Staffordshire alongside her Mum and Dad and groom Grace who will usually be seen helping keep the place looking tip top!!

At the age of 27 Emily has been lucky enough to have had over 10 wonderful years with the BD Youth Programme, or BYRDS as it was when she was part of the North West squad. Emily was often seen representing the NW at all levels with her horses Riona G and Abbey Douglas and later on Rascalini. During her time on Abbey and Rascalini she was lucky enough to be A squad reserve champion at Hartpury in the ride off and part of the Young Proffesionals programme where she came 2nd winning a fabulous bursary to enable her to develop her teaching further to pass her UKCC level 3 successfully.

Emily is currently competing at inter 1 level with her horse Rascalini having bought him on carefully herself from Prelim level. We also have high hopes for my Mums latest purchase of a lovely young horse called Rodney.

Emily is hugely passionate about coaching and was one of the youngest ever to pass her UKCC Level 2 with British Showjumping just after her 18th Birthday – having been a huge showjumping kid in her younger years she does also enjoy coaching jumping to the more grassroots level and believes variety is the spice of life!
Who doesn’t love to see a partnership develop. Emily believes being a coach is all about inspiring the rider and helping them to find confidence to develop independence with there own horse or pony.
